CV Writing in the Age of AI – Lessons from UTCC–iSM’s Career Workshop

UTCC–iSM students joined the Anatomy of an Effective CV session — a dynamic workshop designed to help students create CVs that stand out in the AI-driven job market.

Students discovered how to transform their CVs into professional, attention-grabbing profiles that speak to both recruiters and AI systems.

Most recruiters now use AI tools to scan CVs before a human ever reads them. This session gave students practical skills to ensure their CVs don’t get filtered out — and instead reach the hiring manager’s desk.

Today, many companies rely on AI tools to shortlist candidates. If your CV isn’t AI-optimized, it may never reach the recruiter’s inbox. This session taught students how to make their CVs easy for AI to read, scan, and approve — boosting their chances of landing interviews.

The workshop helped students gain the confidence to apply for internships, jobs, and exchange programs both in Thailand and internationally. They left with updated CVs, clear strategies, and a better understanding of how technology is shaping the future of hiring.
