UTCCiSM students from the Chinese for Everyday Life class explored Chinese culture at the China Cultural Centre in Bangkok
UTCC iSM students from the Chinese for Everyday Life course recently participated in an enriching cultural visit to the China Cultural Centre, where they immersed themselves in authentic Chinese traditions through hands-on activities.
During the visit, students actively engaged in making traditional Chinese dumplings, practicing the art of Chinese calligraphy, and experiencing traditional Chinese music. These interactive sessions provided them with a unique opportunity to learn by doing, allowing for a deeper appreciation of Chinese heritage and cultural practices beyond theoretical study.
The activity was designed to promote experiential learning, encouraging students to develop cross-cultural communication skills, creativity, and cultural awareness. By stepping outside the classroom, students were able to connect language learning with real-world cultural contexts, strengthening both their understanding and confidence in using Chinese in everyday situations.
This initiative reflects UTCC iSM’s commitment to fostering globally minded graduates who are well-equipped for international business environments. Through meaningful cultural exposure, students are better prepared to navigate diverse markets and build connections across cultures an essential skill in today’s interconnected world.
