UTCCiSM Students Explore Global Service Management with UPS Industry Expert
UTCC International School of Management (UTCC iSM) recently organized a special guest lecture session, providing students with the opportunity to gain real-world insights from Khun Orarat Rojanasuwan, Global Business Service Manager at United Parcel Delivery Services (UPS), one of the world’s leading logistics and delivery companies.
During the session, Khun Orarat shared in-depth knowledge about the operations of global service businesses, highlighting how organizations like UPS manage complex international networks to deliver seamless service across borders. Students learned about the importance of customer experience (CX) in building trust and loyalty, as well as how standardized service processes ensure efficiency and consistency in global operations.
The lecture also emphasized the critical role of technology in modern service management. From digital tracking systems and data analytics to automation, students were introduced to how technological tools are used to enhance operational performance and meet customer expectations in a fast-paced global environment.
In addition, students were encouraged to think critically about how theoretical concepts learned in the classroom—such as service quality, operations management, and business strategy—are applied in real industry settings. The session created an engaging learning environment where students could ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain practical perspectives directly from an industry professional.
This initiative reflects UTCC iSM’s commitment to bridging academic learning with real-world experience, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and global mindset needed to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.
The school extends its sincere appreciation to Khun Orarat Rojanasuwan for her time and for sharing valuable expertise and inspiring insights with the students.
